Kyoto

For the next chapter of our Japan trip, we took a bullet train to head to Kyoto, another popular city in Japan.  Despite being less flashy and urban and more of the traditional side of Japan, Kyoto still possess the modern city life compared to most of the countryside towns. You can still get by solely by the subway and most of the buildings, stores and malls are very modern. Kyoto is voted our favourite of the three cities and I definitely want to see more of the city on my next visit.  The highlight of Kyoto compared to Tokyo is the amount of temples and shrines.

Osaka

For our final destination before preparing for our trip back to the UK, we took a day trip to Osaka.  Osaka like Tokyo is a large city, although less flashy and much cheaper and much quieter.  We could only visit the Cup Noodle Museum and Dotonbori, which is one of the most popular attractions of Osaka. We definitely want to visit more of this city and agree to mainly base our journey there.
